Dr. Sharma, a native Californian, received her B.A. in Psychology from Creighton University in 2003, and her M.D. from Creighton University’s School of Medicine in 2007. She returned to California, completing an Internal Medicine residency at University of California Davis Medical Center where she was subsequently appointed as Chief Resident. In 2014 she completed a fellowship in Gastroenterology & Hepatology at California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco.
Dr. Sharma is a board-certified gastroenterologist with particular interests in liver and inflammatory bowel diseases together with colon cancer screening and prevention.

Also during his years in Colorado, Peter served as a Municipal Court Judge for over seven years. Just before he ended his law career, Peter was nominated to serve as a Colorado District Court Judge. While living in Colorado, Peter developed real estate and volunteered for boards related to real estate development, affordable housing, and the local land trust.
Peter has lived in China, Spain, Mexico, and Costa Rica. He has an undergraduate degree from Dartmouth College (1987) and both a law degree (1994) and a Master of Science degree in Forest Resources (1995) from the University of Washington in Seattle. Peter was raised in Marin County, California, and lives there today. He enjoys traveling with his daughter, biking, skiing, and telling stories of his adventures as a cycling and trekking guide on the Silk Road in Central Asia.
