On behalf of Bill Mansfield, Head of Global Markets for MUFG in the Americas, we invite you to join us for a candid conversation with investor, board member and author, Dominique Mielle, on Wednesday, November 3rd

In conjunction with MUFG Americas’ Inclusion & Diversity Council, we are excited to host Dominique for a conversation where she will discuss her rise from analyst to partner during the hedge fund boom, offer commentary on how diversity can become a competitive edge in investing, and discuss her new book, Damsel in Distressed.  Following Dominique’s discussion, we invite you to join us for cocktails and hors d’oeuvres. The in-person event will be live-streamed to enable virtual participation. In the event COVID concerns preclude a live event, we will proceed with an entirely virtual discussion.

About the Speaker:

Dominique spent twenty years as a partner and senior portfolio manager at Canyon Capital.  She served as a restructuring committee member for U.S. airlines in the wake of the September 11 attacks, was a leading creditors’ committee member for Puerto Rico, and was a director and the audit committee chair for PG&E during its fifteen-month bankruptcy process and emergence. Dominique built Canyon’s CLO business and has authored several articles and published a book, Damsel in Distressed.
