James St. Aubin is Managing Director and Investment Strategy Executive at The Private Bank, an exclusive part of Union Bank®. As Investment Strategy Executive, James is responsible for overseeing the delivery of manager research and asset allocation activities across all asset classes including equity, fixed income, liquidity and private alternative investments.

Prior to joining Union Bank in 2015, James was Managing Director and portfolio manager in the Funds Management Group of Wilshire Associates. Prior to Wilshire, James held related roles with Smith Barney (now Morgan Stanley) and Ibbotson Associates (now Morningstar Investment Management). James earned his Bachelor of Science in Finance from DePaul University. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst and Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst designation, and is a member of the CFA Society of Los Angeles and serves as a Los Angeles chapter executive of the CAIA Association.
